PUMAS OF PATAGONIA

PUMAS OF PATAGONIA

$ 7.500,00Price

This is not a trip to  try to see pumas — it’s an invitation to step into their world, with intention.

Set in the vast, open landscapes of Patagonia, this photographic expedition is designed for those who value patience, presence, and authenticity. Working alongside expert trackers and guides, with photo instruction by a seasoned photographer, you’ll spend long days in the field learning to read the land, anticipate behaviour, and position yourself for meaningful encounters. Small groups ensure flexibility and space — not just physically, but creatively.

It’s not about chasing images, but earning them — quietly, respectfully, and with a deeper understanding of the place and its wildlife. A truly unforgettable voyage.

  • TOUR DESCRIPTION

In Patagonia, you don’t find a puma. You learn to move through its world quietly enough to be accepted until you can see them. We offer you this opportunity.

  • TERMS & CONDITIONS

Here’s a rewritten version adapted for The Expedition Life—keeping it professional, clear, and aligned with your tone (warm, direct, and expedition-minded):

    Booking Terms & Conditions

    The Expedition Life

By confirming a booking through payment of a deposit or full amount for any expedition, workshop, or photographic journey, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms. These conditions form the agreement between you and The Expedition Life.

    1. Registration & Payment

To secure your place, a non-refundable deposit (typically 25–50% of the total trip cost) is required.

Our expeditions are intentionally small and curated. Your deposit guarantees one of these limited places and allows us to commit to logistics, permits, and local partners well in advance.

The remaining balance is due no later than 4 months prior to departure, unless otherwise stated. Failure to complete payment may result in the release of your spot without refund.

All prices are listed in USD and payments are processed through secure platforms.

    2. Transfers & Credits

Payments are non-refundable. However, in certain situations:

    • A booking may be transferred to another participant, subject to approval.

    • We may assist in finding a replacement, but this cannot be guaranteed.

    • At our discretion, a credit for a future expedition may be offered.

Private or custom trips are excluded from this policy. Due to their bespoke nature, they are non-transferable and non-refundable unless cancelled by us.

    3. Cancellation by The Expedition Life

We reserve the right to cancel or modify a trip due to:

    • Insufficient participation

    • Safety considerations

    • Environmental or logistical conditions

    • Government restrictions or force majeure events

If we cancel due to operational reasons, all payments made directly to us will be refunded in full.

In cases beyond our control (e.g. weather events, political changes, pandemics), refunds will depend on third-party providers. We will always advocate on your behalf, but cannot guarantee reimbursement.

We are not responsible for additional costs outside the expedition fee (flights, visas, insurance, etc.).

    4. Assumption of Risk

Our journeys take place in remote and wild environments.

Participants acknowledge the inherent risks involved, including but not limited to:

    • Weather conditions

    • Terrain and navigation challenges

    • Wildlife encounters

    • Travel disruptions

By joining, you accept personal responsibility for these risks.
The Expedition Life is not liable for injury, loss, delays, or damage.

    5. Insurance & Travel Requirements

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory, including:

    • Trip cancellation/interruption

    • Medical coverage

    • Emergency evacuation

Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure.

    Participants are responsible for:

    • Arriving on time to the start location

    • Meeting passport, visa, and health requirements

We cannot be held responsible for denied entry, missed connections, or travel disruptions.

    6. Structure & Local Partnerships

The Expedition Life curates and leads each experience.

Transport, accommodation, and certain guiding services may be operated by trusted local partners. These are independent providers, and participants acknowledge their role within the expedition.

    7. Itinerary Flexibility

    Expeditions are dynamic by nature.

Routes, timings, and activities may change due to:

    • Weather

    • Wildlife movement

    • Safety considerations

    • Operational needs

These adjustments are made to ensure the best possible experience and do not constitute grounds for refund.

    8. Wildlife & Photography Expectations

Wildlife encounters and photographic opportunities are never guaranteed.

Nature operates on its own terms. Patience, presence, and respect are part of the experience.

    9. Payment Disputes

By making a payment, you agree to these terms.

Deposits secure a limited place and are non-refundable.
Participants agree not to initiate chargebacks outside of these conditions.

Any concerns should be addressed directly with The Expedition Life.

    10. Participant Conduct

We value a respectful, supportive, and aware group dynamic.

We reserve the right to remove any participant whose behaviour:

    • Compromises safety

    • Disrupts the group

    • Violates local laws or environmental guidelines

In such cases, no refund will be issued, and any additional costs will be the participant’s responsibility.
